One of the new advanced properties of our column widget is the ability to hide or show a specific column widget and its content based on conditional logic.

You might find this useful if you need to show a specific message on your website to your Canadian customers only, or set up an announcement bar along the top of your website that displays an important notice for a few days and then automatically hides. To add conditional logic to a column widget:

1. Open the column widget's properties:

2. Click the "Advanced" tab, then click "Add" to add a new condition.

3. Add as many conditions as you'd like. Note that these conditions determine when the widget is shown on your website, not hidden. The column widget will be hidden whenever the conditions listed here do not apply.

For example, if you wanted to set up an announcement bar that shows an important notice for the next three days, you could add two conditions, choose date for both, and set a "greater than" date for when you'd like the announcement to start, and a "lesser than" date for when you'd like the announcement to finish:

Or if you had a message for your Canadian customers about a mail strike that did not impact customers elsewhere, you could add a condition to show the column based on the country of the visitor:

You can even use the conditions on a column widget in a site-wide Include to only show on specific pages of your website.

We hope you find this feature helpful!
